IYSDC is a vibrant community of Iyengar Yoga practitioners, students, and teachers in Honolulu, Hawai’i. We are a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit educational organization run by a volunteer Board of Directors elected annually by our membership.

At Iyengar Yoga Silent Dance Center our mission is to inspire and nurture the practice of Iyengar Yoga. We offer:

• Introductory opportunities for people new to Iyengar Yoga

• Guidance for continuing students to deepen their own practice, and

• Training for current teachers and those interested in teaching.

Since 1977, people in Hawai‘i have gathered at our center to practice Iyengar Yoga. This year, 2023, marks our 46th year teaching Iyengar Yoga in Honolulu. We are one of the longest-running Iyengar Yoga centers in the country.

Our teachers and students created and built this community through their dedication to the transformative practice of Iyengar Yoga. We hope you will join us!
