Please join us for a Thanksgiving Day Benefit Class to support our growing scholarship program. Since we started it 4 years ago--thanks to our generous students and members--we have raised over $14,000 and provided 62 scholarships. This has allowed our community to support students with weekly yoga classes and workshops at our center. We are striving to expand our outreach every year!

Come connect with your community on this special day. Together, let’s continue to deepen our practice and harness it for the stability and strength it can bring in our daily lives.

Our scholarship program provides access to Iyengar Yoga classes and allows participants to stay connected to our 'Ohana.

Geeta Iyengar, BKS Iyengar's daughter, provided a tremendous service to humanity by teaching us ways to balance our hormones, reduce inflammation, create emotional stability, alleviate aches and pains, and settle our nervous systems. Gwi-Seok has been teaching Iyengar Yoga for women's health for 20+ years, and has experienced firsthand its many benefits.

More than ever, we need to cultivate inner calm along with mental clarity. Join Gwi-Seok and Marlene for a session to stabilize the physical body while creating mental and emotional ease in supported poses. Standing poses, forward bends, gentle back bends, and twists will all be included. All levels are welcome.

Your home yoga practice is a laboratory of discovery and inspiration.

Many students are curious about how to practice at home but don't know how to start.

This workshop will give you practical tools to support your home yoga practice.

In this workshop you will learn:

• How to set up your home practice space

• How to create yoga sequences to practice at home

• How to work with common obstacles that come up in your yoga practice

• How yoga philosophy can support your yoga practice

You also will receive seven practice sequences to support your home practice.

It is a way of narrating, describing, or sharing traditional mantras. Mantras are sacred sound forms that have specific focus and energy. They are meant to guide and protect us.

Among the traditional instruments used for a kirtan are the harmonium, the tabla and flute. Being in Hawaii, the ukulele seems appropriate and works quite well!

Chanting as a group brings people together as a community in a way that other forms of yoga do not have. It creates a sense of connection and unity.
